Outlook 2000 Net Star E-mail Setup

Step 1:  Start up 2000

Step 2:  Click on ‘Tools’

Step 3:  Click on ‘Accounts’

Step 4:  Click on the ‘Mail’ Tab

Step 5:  Click on ‘Add’ and then on ‘Mail’

Step 6:  Type your complete name: First and Last

Step 7:  Click on ‘Next’ at the bottom of the window

Step 8:  Click on “I already have an email address that I’d like to use”

Step 9:  Enter in your email address in the white box

Step 10:  Click ‘Next’ 

Step 11:  Make sure that “Incoming mail server” is a “POP3”

Step 12:  In the “Incoming Mail Server” bar, enter in:

                    mail.yourdomain.com

               Example:  If your domain is www.emailsetup.com  ‘mail.emailsetup.com’

Step 13:  Click on ‘Next’

Step 14:  Enter in your email account name

               Example: Email Address = dave@emailsetup.com

                               Account name = dave

Step 15:  Click on ‘Next

Step 16:  Select which method that you connect to the Internet

Step 17:  Click ‘Next’

Step 18:  Click ‘Finish’

Your email is now set up in Outlook Express 2000.
